Recently xiaomi also launched the Redmi 3s in their redmi series smartphones , The smartphone is a good smartphone but it comes with a much outdated processor and comparatively smaller screen . Just after some days of the redmi 3s coolpad launched the Mega 2.5D which is undoubtedly the redmi 3s killer . So we are here with the review of the Coolpad Mega 2.D smartphone :-

Display of the Coolpad mega 2.5D is the first thing that impressed us . The Mega 2.5D comes with a 2.5D glass the makes the device look premium from the front end . The 2.5D glass works exactly the same like A corning gorilla glass 3 and not only protection but it also helps in better grip to hold the smartphone .
Coolpad Mega 2.5D is one of the rare smartphones that feature a 2.5D glass display and also the first smartphone below 10,000 to feature a 2.5D glass on the display . The Smartphone gives a curved edge on both the sides .
Coming to the performance of the display so we played a Full Hd video in the smartphone and the performance given by the Coolpad mega was seriously amazing . The colours and the picture delivered on the display was Vibrant and bright as well .
One of the major issues users face nowadays is the reflection problem so just to check the reflection on Coolpad mega 2.5D we used it under sunlight . The 2.5D glass on the display reduced the Reflection and made visibility better .
All though the display of Coolpad mega 2.5D is quite impressive and promising .

As we already mentioned earlier that The Coolpad mega 2.5D comes with a 2.5D glass at the front end which makes the coolpad mega a Premium device from the front side . Coming to the rear side of the Device . So the mega comes with a arc type build at the back which helps you to make grip and also fits in the hand easily . The Coolpad mega is all plastic body smartphone from the back .
Coming to the front side so at the front side you get a full 5.5 Inch display with no Capacitive buttons . The button are placed in the screen itself which some users find useful and some don't . However according to us it is a good step as you don't have to move your finger that much .
The speakers are placed just below the Coolpad logo which i personally don't like because sometimes we cant hear ringing calls or notifications . Rest the sound from the speakers were clear and loud .

Coming to the front camera , So the front camera of coolpad mega 2.5D comes with Beautify feature which comes very handy in many situation . The Front camera of mega 2.5D also comes with features like Autofocus, touch to focus, Self mode . Although the front camera of mega is as good as the back camera .

The coolpad mega comes with Mediatek MT6753 Quadcore processor which is clocked at just 1 ghz , This is seriously something that disappointed us because the processor is comparatively less powerful to its rival smartphones in the market . But then on other hand you get 3Gb of ram which can handle multitasking easily .
For Good gaming and better graphics you get a Mali-T720 Gpu processor . To test the graphics of the smartphone we played Heavy games like Asphalt 8 on the device and surprisingly we dint notice any kind of hang or lag , And the most important part is that even with Hd graphics the device did not heated up thanks to Mediatek's Processor .
Switching between apps was also smooth however sometimes we felt a slight lag when apps like facebook and games were running in background . But then if we see the price tag then this is anyhow acceptable .
Coming to the battery of the smartphone , so the Coolpad mega 2.5D comes with a 2500Mah battery which gives 150 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talktime of 3G/4G . Having a quadcore processor clocked at less ghz we can expect good battery performance from the Mega .
