- Make sure you have downloaded the rom in your pc.
- Now connect your Redmi 2 prime / redmi 2 to Pc using a usb cable.
- Now copy and paste the Lineageos.zip in the root of sdcard
- Now make sure that the file has been successfully copied in your phone.
- Now you have to boot your Redmi 2/ Redmi 2 prime in Recovery mode.
- To boot in recovery mode press volume up + power button together.
- Dont release the keys until the smartphone enters in recovery mode.
- Now you will see a screen with many options :-
- Tap on Wipe
- Wipe Data factory reset
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe cache partition

- Now tap on Backup.
